September 20, 2023: 77th national pilgrimage at the National Memorial of Fort Breendonk. The Memorial commemorates the end of the horror of the Nazi occupation. With the pilgrimage, the Memorial honors the memory of all political prisoners of the Second World War. This way their memories will live on.
